Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people,
can transform the world.
Howard Zinn

In a time in which we desperately need nature
and the joy it brings, I consider it an honor
to be one of the many, many nature nerds
scattered across our world.
We need to preserve and protect all of the
amazing wonders of this big blue planet.
When more and more of us do our part to help,
big or small, there is hope for the future
of our world, a world filled with beauty that
our children and grandchildren will enjoy
for generations to come.
My name is Kay Rosenof
and I am happy to be ...

My mission is to instill hope in others,
to show that it is not all gloom and doom
for our planet. I know we need an awareness
of the reality of climate and environmental issues. However, we also need an awareness of the amazing work of countless people
across our world who are doing everything
they can to help make things better.

No matter what hurdles we face,
we can have tremendous hope because of
the multitudes of folks who are protecting our planet and nature. And the wonderful part is that all of us can add substantially
to their numbers by doing whatever
we can to help.
I also want to encourage as many people
as I can, including the kids of today,
to see the wonder and beauty
of nature and all of its amazing creatures.
And finally, I am convinced there
is still goodness and light in our world.
I want to show this to be true, especially for the sake of those who are discouraged by all the negativity coming at us from so many directions.

As a nature nerd,
I have so much hope because of the many folks
who are doing everything they can
to make things better.
It is a privilege to share the wonderful news
of the amazing environmental advocacy
happening in our world today!

As a photographer,
I love seeing all the beauty that surrounds us. From the mundane to the majestic,
there is so much that is wonderful
in our world to enjoy.
I truly feel it is an amazing privilege to
help people see this tremendous beauty
through my photography.

Our biggest hope for the future
of our planet and nature?
The Kids of Today ...

Hope abounds in teaching today's youth
how to care for and protect our world,
nature, and the environment.
Hope flourishes when we show them
how wonderful nature is
and why it so important to take care of it!
This is why I have decided to make it
my mission to encourage today's kids to
be amazing nature nerds, to inspire them
to be super heroes in making sure we have
a healthy planet tomorrow.

“If children don’t grow up knowing
about nature and appreciating it,
they will not understand it.
And if they don’t understand it,
they won’t protect it.
And, if they don’t protect it ... who will?”
Sir David Attenborough
